King’s Kraal
King’s Kraal, the renowned African dining experience, has finally arrived in Joburg, offering a unique blend of royal history, innovative fusion cuisine, and live music. This concept restaurant, located in Bryanston and launched in March 2024, aims to transport guests back to the lavishness of ancient royal kraals, providing a culinary journey through Africa's diverse cultures. Founded by partners Justice Huni, overseeing business operations, and Chef Kudzai Bingepinge, the culinary mastermind, King’s Kraal promises a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Our team was tasked with handling comprehensive PR and media relations to showcase the restaurant's distinctiveness and allure, generating excitement among food enthusiasts. Through strategic placements in various media outlets, including newspapers, TV, food, and travel magazines, we highlighted King’s Kraal's elegance and uniqueness, enticing a wider audience to experience its offerings.
SA Future Trust
In response to the economic challenges exacerbated by COVID-19, the SA Future Trust (SAFT) provided crucial support to businesses through a R1 billion loan program, disbursing over one hundred thousand loans to affected enterprises. Recognising the ongoing issues of joblessness and the need for targeted assistance, SAFT, in collaboration with the Oppenheimer Generations Trust, sought to reassess their impact and future direction. Our agency was entrusted with the development of a comprehensive communications and messaging strategy for the launch of SA Future Trust 2.0. This new initiative focuses on job creation and support for informal sector entrepreneurs. Our strategy, branded “Futuring South Africa,” aimed to distinguish SAFT in the market through impactful positioning and strategic outreach. During the campaign period from September 12, 2023, to December 7, 2023, our efforts generated 63 clips across print, broadcast, and online media, achieving a total earned Advertising Value Equivalent (AVE) of R2,411,279—a significant increase from the previous period. The campaign yielded a Return on Investment (ROI) of R1,978,579 and reached a combined circulation of 113,123
Castle Lite #BadNewsBingo
The Castle Lite #BadNewsBingo 2023 campaign was not only inspired by South Africans' unique use of comedy and laughter to cope with daily challenges but also aimed to bring light-hearted entertainment to a heavy news cycle. The campaign, which saw massive social engagement, featured Castle Lite, #BadNewsBingo, and hosts Eugene Khoza and Tumi Morake, who added a comedic twist to the daily headlines. Our team played a crucial role in the campaign by handling talent booking and managing Eugene Khoza. This included negotiating contracts, securing usage rights, and ensuring proper copywriting credits for Mr. Khoza. All of these tasks were expertly handled by Manaka, ensuring a seamless and successful collaboration for the campaign.

We offered comprehensive Influencer campaign management services for the highly anticipated launch of the new Bakers Tennis Rusks. In addition to this, we skillfully handled data analysis, and contract negotiations, and provided detailed campaign reporting to showcase the impressive return on investment generated by the campaign. Habitat For Humanity
Our team successfully provided comprehensive communications and press management support for Habitat for Humanity programs. Over 2 years, our team was able to secure continuous media coverage for AFI, resulting in an impressive 2 billion impressions across various esteemed Pan African business, lifestyle, luxury, and fashion media publications. This extensive coverage not only highlighted the brand's presence but also showcased the talents of high-level executives, founders, designers, and production teams associated with AFI. By profiling these key individuals, we were able to solidify AFI's position as a leading entity in the industry. EUGENE KHOZA COMEDY COMEBACK

As Eugene made a thrilling return to the spotlight, our team was at the forefront, orchestrating a comprehensive comeback campaign that showcased our strategic prowess and dedication.

Bohlale Ba Rena
We provided comprehensive support to the foundation, focusing on raising awareness for Autism support in low-income and underserved communities. Throughout the project, we were able to generate over 2 million in earned media coverage and reach 750k social media impressions. Our team's expertise in promoting impactful causes led to increased support and resources for Autism initiatives. By strategically targeting key audiences and utilising various communication channels, we were able to effectively amplify the foundation's message and engage with a wider audience. Brand SA
During the 2-week campaign, we not only achieved 2.5 million in earned media coverage but also saw exceptional Pan-African reach and engagement. The campaign's success was evident with over 100k downloads on debut and listings on all major streaming platforms. Additionally, our corporate press engagements with Brand SA executives were featured in African titles, reaching Nigeria, Congo, Ghana, and Egypt. This helped solidify Brand SA's presence and reputation across the continent. The strategic approach taken in the campaign planning and execution played a crucial role in achieving these remarkable results. Our team's dedication and expertise were instrumental in ensuring the campaign's success and making a lasting impact on Brand SA's visibility and credibility in the African market.

We orchestrated four highly successful campaigns that generated significant impact by leveraging strategic approaches. These campaigns achieved 30.8 million social media impressions, leading to a remarkable 26% increase in sales and an impressive R2.9 million return on investment (ROI). Our strategic approach not only attracted a new audience group but also challenged biases, positively influencing cultural perceptions. By utilising innovative marketing techniques and targeted messaging, we were able to create a lasting impact on our audience. Through careful planning and execution, we were able to effectively communicate our message and drive engagement. Our team successfully implemented targeted influencer marketing strategies to drive product uptake and enhance media relations, resulting in securing R3.6 million in earned media. This achievement translated into an impressive 100% ROI on investment. Our demonstrated expertise in effectively reaching the desired target audience, both locally and internationally, led to the conversion of 86k new customers. The product launches of makeup items and David Tlale fashion accessories were met with great success. Additionally, our collaboration with Avon expanded to include support for the iThemba walkathon, showcasing our commitment to philanthropic endeavors.
Scottish Leader
We spearheaded the 13-part TV series that combined influencer marketing and PR strategies to produce exceptional outcomes. This initiative resulted in an impressive R186.8 million ROI in value and R3,681,606 in earned PR value. Our campaign garnered a broad Pan-African media presence, with a reach of 309 million social media impressions and extensive coverage in both broadcast and print news platforms. Through our efforts, we effectively enhanced the reputation of the Scottish Leader brand and sparked widespread public interest. Our innovative approach to marketing and PR not only achieved remarkable results but also solidified our position as industry leaders in driving successful brand campaigns.
UNFPA
Garnered extensive media coverage for the launch of the UNFPA Regional Ambassador, Ms. Shudufadzo Musida, achieving over 1 million impressions in titles across South Africa and Pan Africa. Demonstrated expertise in effectively communicating the significance of the UNFPA's initiatives and engaging audiences throughout the region. This included highlighting the importance of reproductive health, gender equality, and youth empowerment in the context of sustainable development goals. Our team played a crucial role in providing strategic and tactical press and influencer support for the SABC Fifa World Cup 2022.
